Colocation means the server is yours, but it lives in our rack. You get the power, the cooling, the connectivity and the physical security of a real datacentre without having to build any of it yourself.
Spaugur runs space in an Icelandic datacentre inside Reykjavík and rents it out by the rack unit. There is no need to sign for a whole rack on a multi year term just to put one machine in the building. One unit is enough to start with, and you grow when you need to.
Every unit comes with IP transit, IPv4 and IPv6 allocations, BGP so you can announce your own prefixes from your own ASN, a path out to RIX, remote hands and monitoring around the clock. Colocation in Iceland also means your data sits under GDPR and that the power behind it is renewable.

IP transit and BGP
We provide IP transit and BGP sessions from AS215823, so you can announce your own prefixes from your own ASN.
IPv4 and IPv6 allocations
Single IPv4 addresses or full prefixes such as a /29 and a /64. You get what your hardware actually needs, not a ration.
A path out to RIX
We can carry you into the building RIX lives in, or you can source your own transit from other carriers inside the datacentre.
Redundant power
Both the power feeds and the transit providers are redundant. If one path drops, your equipment keeps running on the other.

Need a reboot, a disk swapped or a cable moved? We do it for you, so nobody has to drive across town.

Instead you book a visit and a member of the Spaugur team escorts you in. Booking a day ahead through our service portal works best. When you cannot make it over, we do the hands on work for you.
